Jay Chauncey

Director, EAM Solutions

Jay has worked at EDI for over 18 years serving clients across multiple verticals. Jay is passionate about ensuring project success and according to his peers, works tirelessly to achieve client objectives. Jay’s work ethic stems from an innate desire to understand and solve complex problems. “When I’m researching an issue or isolating a bug, I don’t feel like I’m working. I feel like it’s an opportunity to learn and a challenge waiting to be conquered.”
Jay earned an A.A. degree at Pasco-Hernando Community College while maintaining a full-time job before transferring to Florida State University. He considered Pharmaceutical Medicine, but instead earned a BS Electrical Engineering. Jay worked at Northrop Grumman as a Cognizant Engineer on the Joint Surveillance Target and Attack Radar System (JSTARS), a joint development project of the US Air Force and Army providing an airborne, stand-off range, surveillance and target acquisition radar and command and control center. In addition, he worked as a Test Engineer for Jabil, a manufacturing solutions provider that delivers comprehensive design, manufacturing, supply chain and product management services before joining EDI in 2001.
