EDI's configuration of the Heath, Safety and Environment Management solution within Maximo will give existing and future Airport Maximo users a very economical alternative for purchasing and maintaining additional software to meet the new SMS requirements.

Safety Policies and Procedures


The FAA requires organizations to develop, document and maintain safety policies that establish senior management's commitment to continually improve safety and defines the methods, processes, and organizational structure needed to meet safety goals. While these policies need to be developed and committed to outside any informational system, it is imperative that these policies be posted, managed and stored in a central location for transparency, communication, training and compliance reasons. Storing and managing these policies in a relational database that also manages the organizations assets as well as Incident and Hazard processes allows for the opportunity to directly integrate them all safety-related assets and processes.
